Chris is an award winning, multi-talented film and television composer and songwriter, who has scored original music for over twenty-five feature films. Born in New Orleans on January 27 – sharing his birthday with Wolfgang Mozart – Chris showed an early interest in music. As a kid growing up in Virginia, he shredded lead guitar in garage bands all while being influenced by everything from the Beatles to Bartok to the Dixieland jazz that his father and uncle played. Chris holds a Bachelor of Music in Theory/Composition. In addition, he has attended the Eastman School of Music and the UCLA Film Scoring program. He was also selected to attend the ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop. He began his film-scoring career with Roger Corman, scoring the action thriller, SHAKEDOWN, starring Ron Pearlman. Chris has gone on to write in all genres from action to thriller/horror, romantic comedy and dramas. He is frequently asked back by directors who know him for his versatility and his keen dramatic sensibility.

Recently returning to the horror genre, Chris says that HOUSE OF THE WITCH DOCTOR, directed by Devon Mikolas, gave him a unique opportunity to create and get lost in an atmospheric world fused with the orchestra to create a heightened sense of tension and fear resulting in raw emotion and power.
